Assam Orunodoi Scheme Key Features

• Objective of the scheme – The primary objective of the scheme is to empower the women of the state by helping them with money so that they can buy nutritious food.
• Amount of financial aid– The beneficiaries of the scheme will get 830 rupees per month. And for the medical support the beneficiaries will get 10,000 rupees per year. The money will be given 1^st of every month.
• Number of beneficiaries– As per the survey, there will be around 17 lakh to 24 lakh beneficiaries. As of now the assistance will be given to 15-17 thousand families from each assembly constituency.
• Budget for the scheme– In order to implement the scheme effectively, government has earmarked a provision of 24 lakh rupees.
• Priority people– The women who are unmarried, divorced, or widow, and handicapped will get the service on a priority basis.

Who is Eligible in Assam Orunodoi Scheme

• Permanent resident – the scheme is applicable to the people who are the permanent residents of the state.
• Income limit – As per the rule of the scheme the family income of the candidate should not exceed 2 Lakh per year.
• Bank account – The applicant must have a bank account as the money will be transferred to the account directly.

Assam Orunodoi Scheme Selection process (beneficiary List)

Government has given a last date of application and that is 17th August. After all the applications are submitted the District Level Monitoring Committee will prepare the beneficiary list.
