What is Niramay Gujarat Yojana
Niramay Gujarat Yojana has been proposed to furnish safety and preventive measures against non-communicable diseases. Non-communicable diseases essentially consist of diseases like cancer, anemia, diabetes, paralysis, heart attack, renal diseases, high blood pressure and so on. Niramay Gujarat Yojana will focus on establishing primary health centres and community health centres. These centres will help in screening those who are above 30 years of age. The screening will be done every Friday, which is also known as Mamta Diwas.
