Kharif Green and Black Grams Kharid Registration
The government is trying to support farmers in the Kharif season 2021-2022. For example, the central government would buy green and black grams (chana) from the local farmers of Karnataka. In order to avail it, farmers are required to do the registration within 45 days. The purchase would get completed within 90 days. The government will pay Rs 7,275 per quintal for green grams while Rs 6,300 per quintal for black grams. Under this price support plan, farmers are going to get the money directly into their bank accounts. A farmer could sell up to a maximum of six quintals to the government. The price support plan is focusing to help farmers at the grassroots level.
