Government of Andhra Pradesh has introduced a new scheme for BC / SC / ST / Minorities and women residing in Andhra Pradesh. The name of this scheme is AP Jagananna jeeva kranti scheme 2020. YSRCP President of Andhra Pradesh YS Jaganmohan Reddy has started the AP Jagananna jeeva kranti scheme 2020 scheme, thinking about the well being of the people. An amount of Rs.1868.63 crore has been released to successfully implement this scheme, under which 2.49 lakh sheep and goat units will be distributed among the people belonging to the lower class. 14 sheep and goats will be included in each unit.

In this scheme, some eligibility for filling registration has also been determined which are as follows.
- To fill applications under this scheme only women living in Andhra Pradesh who belong to Backward classes, Schedule castes, Schedule tribes, Minority communities.
- Those women should also have caste certificate.
- Family income certificate is also mandatory at the time of registration.
- Women must be between 45 and 60 years of age, for which an identity card will also be required.
- It is not possible to fill an application in any scheme without Aadhaar card, so Aadhaar card will also have to be installed in this scheme.
- Applicant should be resident of Andhra Pradesh, for which residence certificate will also have to be applied at the time of registration.

Distribution of Sheep Goats Under Three Phase
The main objective of this scheme released by the government is to provide employment to the landless poor women living in Andhra Pradesh so that they can run their livelihoods smoothly. The Andhra Pradesh government has taken over the entire workload of the scheme itself to maintain transparency and avoid corruption under this process, which will be implemented under three phases. The three steps of the process are explained in the points below. Please read carefully.
- Under the first phase, 20,000 units will be distributed among women before March 2021 as the first unit of the scheme to the beneficiary women.
- In the second phase, between April and August 2021, 130000 units of sheep goats will be distributed among women as a second unit.
- In the second phase, between September and December of 2021, the remaining 99000 units will be distributed among women.
